K.O.Snowden Photography

Greetings and Greetings!
First of all thank you for stopping by to take a gander at my work as a photographer! This site has been long awaited and overdue.
Graduating from Cornell University's Architecture, Art & Planning with a BFA, my consistent photographic journey kicked up and soared in college, primarily in fine art and photojournalism. My loving grandfather and professional photographer,Arthur Snowden, of Baltimore MD gave me my first slr camera the day of my high school graduation. Since graduating I have been thankful to join in opportunities to branch off and create more portraits, event photography, stock images, still life and some commercial photography. So feel free to venture through this spectrum of visual imagery, comment, contact and make inquires at kosnowden@gmail.com! If you would like a larger print, or are interested in using any of my heart and soul photographs here I do request that you ask, drop some credit to K.O.Snowden Photography and post my link.

If you are also interested in having me shoot an event, stock photos, still life, your talent and more contact me. If you are interested in having the photographer perform on the runaway or event, modeling requests are also welcome. Do contact via email with the details of your request and your communication information. (Self-Portraits are hidden within the Portrait/People/Models category below. MM information also available upon request.)

Thank you for your time spent here. This page is in the midst of construction and is continuously updated so do come back again!

Important Note: Due to a hiatus of a broken professional camera, I did temporarily resort to a point & shoot Kodak C530 and its static. Other images reflect usage of professional Hasselblad, Mamiya, and Nikon series cameras.

Thank you very much for taking the time out to visit here. Please comment here and I hope to hear from you again soon!

Let Gaza Live Protest 2009 : LET GAZA LIVE! Stop the U.S./Israeli War Against Palestinian People.

Photo coverage from National March on Washington, Saturday, January 10, Assembled at the White House. This is what I was able to catch before my camera started to get too wet to shoot. There was much more to photo report on but cameras and water are not always the best companions. Aiee!!

Hundreds of Palestinian people in Gaza have been killed and thousands more wounded as a result of the massive bombing campaign and ground invasion carried out by the Israeli government. This must be recognized for what it is: not a war but a massacre of the Palestinian people. Because of the U.S.-backed Israeli blockade and strangulation of the people of Gaza for the past 18 months, there is little or no medicine to treat the wounded, electricity for hospitals, or food or clean water for much of the population.

Israel is the largest recipient of U.S. aid in the world. It receives more than $15 million every day from the United States. The F-16 fighter jets and apache helicopters that have rained down more thanhundreds of tons of bombs and missiles on Gaza are made in the United States by the Pentagon and provided to the Israeli government. It is inconceivable that this military equipment and the Israeli aggression in Gaza could have taken place without the explicit consent of the U.S. government. It is urgent that people in the United States take to the streets to show solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to demand an immediate end to the murderous attacks carried out by the U.S.-backed Israeli military against the people of Gaza.

The Jan. 10 protest was located between the Bush White House and the Hay Adams Hotel, where President-Elect Obama currently resides on the north side of Lafayette Park.
